SEI & LEAD Alumni Program

We are pleased to announce that the SEI & LEAD Alumni Program is returning this winter. Return to UVA to engage with a cohort of your peers in workshop style session to problem solve an issue you’re facing.

The program is designed to meet the most pressing needs in local government leadership. 

Draft topics include: 

  • Managing Change (including data best practices)

  • Complexity: Creative Problem Solving

  • Dealing with Difficult People: Working in Highly Charged Environments

  • Resilience and Navigating Authenticity 

For each workshop, we ask that you bring your challenges as we work together with subject matter experts to find solutions.

Alumni Program dates: December 10 – 12, 2025

Registration instructions: Log in to our user portal here. From the ‘Select A Service’ menu on the top right, select LEAD or SEI. Then, click on the ‘Register For Events’ tab and select ‘LEAD/SEI Alumni Program.'
