DAO Volunteers Needed: February 2024

Hello fellow DAO’s!  I hope you all had a great 2023 and I wish each and every one of you all the best in the coming year.  With that, I am in great need of articles and 2 volunteer localities to host the DAO meetings next year.

Per the “DAO in the Life” articles, if you would like to submit something, please do so at any time to me, tekilduff@hanovercounty.gov.  I would love to have at least 6 to begin the next year with.  If you didn’t know, the article can really be about anything. It’s a great way to tell others around the State about yourself, your job, your locality, a great management book you read, or anything else.  It can be 1 paragraph or several.  You can also contact me if you want to bounce an idea off me!

Per the meetings, many thanks to the Town of Vinton and Roanoke County for hosting the Spring 2023 meeting and The Town of Rocky Mount for hosting the Fall 2023 meeting.  I have no one for 2024!  If you would like to volunteer your locality, please reach out to me asap and Alysse Dowdy and we can help get you all set up with the logistics.
